GLUTEN-FREE VEGAN MANDAZI

Ingredients:

  1. 350g Blossom baking flour
  2. 14g baking powder
  3. 60 – 80g sugar *adjust according to preference.
  4. 1 cup/ 250ml warm water
  5. 1 tablespoon of oil
  6. Oil for deep frying

Instructions:

  1. Mix the baking flour, baking powder, and sugar in a bowl.
  2. Add the warm water to the mixture and combine into a dough.
  3. Do not add extra water.
  4. Add the oil and knead gently.
  5. Allow the dough to rest for 5 minutes.
  6. Put a bit of oil onto the rolling surface roll out the dough and cut into desirable sizes.
  7. Heat the oil, add the mandazis, and fry until golden brown.
