Chocolate Chip Cookies

12-15 minutes

Ingredients:

  1. 234g or 1 ¾ cups flour
  2. 1 teaspoon baking powder
  3. 125g or 8.5 tablespoons butter or margarine
  4. 1 large egg
  5. 90g or ½ cup brown sugar
  6. 100g or ½ cup white sugar
  7. 1 teaspoon vanilla
  8. 130g or ¾ cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl add the white, brown sugar, and butter and mix with a wooden spoon or hand mixer until well combined
  2. Add the egg and vanilla then mix.
  3. Sift in the flour and baking powder.
  4. Add the chocolate chips and mix until combined.
  5. Divide the dough into balls, place it on a tray lined with parchment paper and flatten then a bit.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes at 180C.
  7. Remove them from the oven and leave them on the tray for 5-10 minutes to firm up before transferring them to a cooling rack to cool completely.
